The Central Registry

The new commercial laws institute a Central Registry as 'the agency for registering the documents related to domestic and foreign corporations'.

In implementing the new commercial laws, the role and responsibilities of the Central Registry are currently being discussed to expand them to become the key agency for the registration of all businesses in Afghanistan, including sole proprietorships.
