Afghans through the development of the formal
economy.
Mission
The
mission of the Ministry of Commerce & Industries is to create an
enabling environment for sustainable and equitable
economic growth and opportunity for all Afghans by
promoting private sector development in a socially
responsible free market economy.
Objectives
The
Ministry of Commerce & Industries has three strategic objectives:

To promote the establishment and implementation of
a legal and regulatory framework necessary to ensure
the efficient and equitable operation of a free
market economy.

To integrate Afghanistan into the regional and
global economy.
·
To facilitate and promote the development of a
dynamic, competitive private sector.
The Ministry of Commerce & Industries has one management
objective “to improve the capacity, effectiveness
and efficiency of the Ministry of Commerce.”
